Position Summary
We are looking for a professional and safety-conscious Truck Driver to transport goods and materials across designated routes in Dubai and other UAE locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and complying with all traffic laws and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks and transport goods to designated locations across Dubai and the UAE.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo according to assigned schedules.
- Follow all UAE traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and transportation documents.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays to management promptly.
- Plan efficient driving routes to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Verify cargo details and delivery documentation before transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Adhere to company safety standards and transportation procedures at all times.
- Assist with emergency situations and ensure the security of transported goods.
- Provide professional and courteous service while representing the company.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, Matric, or equivalent qualification.
- Valid UAE Heavy Truck Driving License (Category 4 or relevant license category).
- Minimum 2–3 years of truck driving experience, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws, road networks, and transportation regulations.
- Ability to read and understand delivery documents, route instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading duties when required.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety.
- Experience in logistics, freight transportation, construction, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.
- Basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Knowledge of English; Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.
- Experience transporting heavy, oversized, or specialized cargo is a plus.
